Forest Interactive will be joining #mydigitalmaker fair that will take place in Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur this 29th and 30th September. The fair is a joint public-private-academia initiative to transform Malaysian youth from digital users to producers in the digital economy. This includes skills such as coding, app development, 3D printing, robotics, embedded programming, and data analytics; all of which will ultimately help to strengthen problem solving and creativity amongst our future generation.

One of our biggest CSR project for this year has been our collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) for the LevelUp@Schools program. It is a program created by MDEC with the support of the Ministry of Education of Malaysia (MOE) to extend exposure and forge game development skillsets to school students by running a series of game development training workshops across the country.  Following the success of our pilot project with them from last year of the same program, we decided to amplify our support for this year working closely with MDEC in preparing the nation-wide agenda where we have supported the program in three different states; Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, and Kuala Lumpur. Check out the highlights of our LevelUp@Schools HERE

In relation, the LevelUp@Schools program was also set to encourage students to participate in the game creation competition upon the completion of their training.  The winners will be announced at the Level Up@Schools Game Awards during the #mydigitalmaker fair. Forest Interactive is excited to be participating in the fair together with MDEC. We’re also bringing one of our products, Wallet Codes, the easiest way to reload Steam Wallet with mobile credit.

Come and meet us at our booth at MDEC’s exhibition area in the Axiata Arena and stand a chance to win Steam Points and other freebies!
