KUALA LUMPUR – Forest Interactive is now an official member of the United Nations Global Compact, the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world. Through this membership, Forest Interactive aims to continue on in its goals to build trust and transparency, achieve sustainability objectives, and share the world’s sustainability agenda.

The United Nations Global Compact mandate is to guide and support the global business community in advancing UN goals and values through responsible corporate practices in human rights, labor, the environment, and anti-corruption, as well as to strive for business development that benefits economies and societies. With the latest act of joining the UN Global Compact, this will be one of Forest Interactive’s initiatives to advance broader UN goals such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

“We are proud to have been invited to become a member of the United Nations Global Compact. This membership is another big step forward as this is an integral part of our sustainability journey, indicating our pure and sincere commitment to a higher level of truthfulness,” said Johary Mustapha, CEO of Forest Interactive. “Besides, through this membership, we hope to achieve several outcomes such as increased financial performance, higher ESG scores, increased employee engagement, and improved corporate governance.”
